1.       The library media program is essential to learning and teaching and must be fully integrated into the curriculum to promote students’ achievement of learning goals.
              - I approached Mr. McKinney to share the knowledge I had on a unti he was planning on teaching

2.  The information literacy standards for student learning are integral to the content and objectives of the school’s curriculum.
                - Mr. McKinney and I made sure that both academic and information literary standards were met by the assignment

                - I helped to create a lesson plan with Mr. McKinney. I also created a mini-lesson on how to effectively use new technologies

                - I showed and promoted students to use a variety of sources for resource such as books, databases, pathfinders, and magazines 

6.  The library media program encourages and engages students in reading, viewing, and listening for understanding and enjoyment. 
                -I made sure that students were aware of the wide selection of books/diaries/letters that they could read

7.  The library media program supports the learning of all students and other members of the learning community who have diverse learning abilities, styles, and needs.
                - I made sure that audio books were also displayed for those who may have troubles reading

8.  The library media program fosters individual and collaborative inquiry.
                - I guided students in research and helped with any questions they had

9.  The library media program integrates the uses of technology for learning and teaching.
                - I promoted the use of blogs, making videos, and electronic databases

10.  The library media program is an essential link to the larger learning community. 

                - I helped to develop similar lessons for other teachers/schools in the system. Also, upload projects so that people in school system could view the
